Madagascar is a land of contrasts, of breath-taking unspoilt nature, seaside resorts and forest lodges, lemurs (over 100 species of them) stout baobabs and colourful markets..

Despite being Madagascar’s number-one beach destination, the island of Nosy Be remains relatively low-key.
The climate is sunny year-round, and Nosy Be is paradise for water-based activities. Diving is the island’s top draw, and there is plenty of swimming, snorkelling and sailing for those keen to stay close to the surface.
Once you’ve had enough of seascapes, head for the rolling landscapes of the little-explored hinterland: as well as the brilliant Réserve Naturelle Intégrale de Lokobe, there are cocoa, ylang-ylang and vanilla plantations, crater lakes and waterfalls, and miles of dirt tracks accessible only by foot or quad bike.

Day 1 -Arrival at Nosy be, meet and greet with the hotel staff. Transfer to the hotel.

The island of Nosy Be is located in the Mozambique Channel and only 15 km from the North-West coast of Madagascar.
Nosy Be Archipelago comprises some of the finest accommodation in Madagascar, with luxury hotels and private resorts spread along breath-taking beaches and azure blue sea. Nosy Be is the main island, home to the Andilana and Amporaha Beaches, world-renowned for their beauty.
It is certainly worth exploring the nearby islands, which provide a more private and intimate experience. Nosy Tanikely is a marine reserve with out-of-this-world scuba diving and snorkelling while the private islands of Nosy Iranja and Tsarabanjina each have an exclusive lodge offering a Robinson Crusoe style deserted island experience! Or you could join a Dhow Safari, hopping between the different islands.

Madagascar is home to breath-taking island accommodation. Whether you are looking for a seaside retreat or luxury cabin on board a Dow, we can assist you.

Day 8 - Breakfast and day at leisure before transfer to the airport for your return flights to South Africa
