However, there are different areas, alternating dry season and wet season, but the features are largely the same: from January to June, drought dominates, and from July to December is the rainy season, with slight variations depending on the regions. Between May and November, the monsoon often the passage of typhoons. The cooler temperatures are recorded in January and the highest in May, with an average turn around, however, 25 ° C throughout the year. It is therefore a better choice for your travel period from January to May, which will avoid the typhoon, with a preference for March and April where it is easier to move from one island to another in good conditions.

CHILE

However this general pattern is affected by regional geographic zones with a humid tropical climate in the Amazon, a harsher climate at altitude and more akin to desert in the Guajija. The best time to visit Colombia is during the dry season but avoid the weeks between the middle of December to the middle of January which is the favourite time for holidaying Colombians.

Seas can be slightly rough in July and August.

GUATEMALA

Known as the country of eternal spring, Guatemala is good to visit all year round but the dry season is November to May. The climate also varies according to altitude. The low-lying jungle areas such as El Peten are generally hot and sticky, in contrast to the highlands which are pleasantly warm during the day but can be very cool at night.

HONG KONG

Winter lasts from January to March with January and February more cloudy, with occasional cold fronts followed by dry northerly winds. It is not uncommon for temperatures to drop below 10 °C in urban areas. February is the coldest month in Hong Kong, when the temperature averages 16°C. March and April are very pleasant however, there are occasional spells of high humidity, fog and drizzle can be particularly troublesome. May to August are hot and humid with occasional showers and thunderstorms, and the highest temperatures often exceed 31°C. July to September are the months during which Hong Kong is most likely to be affected by tropical cyclones.

INDIA

india_taj2India has five seasons; spring, summer, monsoon, autumn and winter. The monsoon hits different regions at different times as it sweeps from the Indian Ocean to the Himalaya, affecting north and central India from May to September. In the south the monsoon generally lingers into October. The western ranges of the Indian Himalaya are also generally best visited during this time to escape the heat and rains on the plains. Between October and March the daytime temperature ranges between 25C – 30C, falling in the evening and overnight to between 18C – 22C. After the monsoon, the air is dry, making the heat more bearable and reducing the humidity.
