Why ICAN Holidays

kiwi-encounterWe are different from other travel companies. Booking your personally designed holiday with ICAN HOLIDAYS guarantees a journey that has been thoroughly planned by an expert with in-depth knowledge of the region, and we pride ourselves on our attention to detail and customer service.

EXPERT CONSULTANTS

All our consultants have travelled extensively throughout many countries so you can rely on their first hand knowledge and boundless enthusiasm for our destinations. You will find an honest “tell it as it is” approach to planning an itinerary, suggesting sights and selecting accommodation. We regularly visit the destinations, meticulously inspect hotels and keep abreast of all issues relating to travel. We believe this approach is unique to ICAN HOLIDAYS and ensures you have the best possible travel experience.

TAILOR-MADE JOURNEYS

The joy of tailor-made travel is that your entire holiday is designed around your requirements, so you are not tied to the set itinerary of many "off the shelf" tour operators. This allows you to explore your own interests and select your own style of accommodation, with our Consultants’ knowledge always at your disposal.

PRIVATE TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

Our clients can enjoy private transfers and, wherever possible, guided tours with a private guide. You travel at your own pace and enjoy your days as you please, so your guide can spend more time in a particular area that interests you.

ACCOMMODATION

130523015With ICAN HOLIDAYS, where you stay is very much part of the experience. Wherever possible we try to select some of the more unusual, character accommodation options. We regularly inspect the accommodation we use, updating our knowledge on existing properties and researching new ones. Some of our favourite and more interesting examples are featured on our website, although we can recommend many others to suit all budgets and tastes; just call us to find out more.

GUIDES

tours-guideThe quality of your guide can make the difference between a good journey and an outstanding one. The guides we use have been picked by us, or by our local representatives, as the best available and great care has been taken over their training. They provide more than just dates or names; they strive to offer a real insight into their country and region. Some may even welcome you into their home or their local temple and by the end of their trip, many of our clients say a reluctant goodbye, feeling they have made a lifelong friend.

TRANSPORTATION

f766f0aed3c67326fbe630756a53ff54We use the most convenient means of transport for each sector of your holiday and it is possible that your Consultant travelled along that route themselves.

By Road: When a road journey is worthwhile for stunning scenery or interesting stops en-route we use spacious, modern, air-conditioned vehicles. You will be driven by a local driver and often accompanied by an English-speaking guide too.

By River: Travelling by river is often a traditional means of transport, especially in Southeast Asia. We use boats specially designed to enhance the experience.

By Rail: Rail journeys can be a great way of enjoying the superb scenery and are always a wonderful way to experience the local way of life.

FLIGHTS

travell-flightsFor international flights we only use the services of established and reputable airlines. For internal flights we may use smaller airlines that have established a good reputation. We are able to provide prices for travelling in economy, business and first class. Many ICAN HOLIDAYS' clients are now choosing to travel in a premier economy cabin for extra space and comfort at an affordable price. If you would prefer to fly from your local airport, we can arrange this too, either as a connecting flight to OR Tambo (Johannesburg International) or Cape Town International Airport.

PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD

You are welcome to pay for your travel arrangements by credit card. However you need to be aware that we only accept Visa and Mastercard. American Express & Diners cards are only accepted for air tickets.
